Have you ever see an indian aqueduct? Today you will see an absolutely awesome and fully functional aqueduct in the Guayabo National Monument from the former indian colony. The first certificates from the National Monument are from the years around 2500 before christ. The first excavations have been made in 1800 and even today only a small area of the full area, which amounts approximately 15 to 20 hectare, has been exposed. Old gravestates, a high technological water supply system, colonial rests, streets, ceramic and stone gravings represent the former meaning of the colony with a population of 2500 to 10000 people. Here, your tour guide will inform you about the history of the indian population which was living here many hundreds year before.
Moreover, you have the chance to watch the beautiful flora and fauna. Magnolias, banyan trees, orchids and bromeliads are only a few of the present plants.
